Traditional Flower Pressing

We choose to press all of our flowers using a traditional flower press. Just like growing organic vegetables, the slow, methodical process of pressing flowers traditionally yields greater results.

The traditional method takes time, 5-8 weeks in the press. We don’t add any color enhancing agents, meaning the colors of all original and commissioned pieces will fade over time, so you can enjoy them as they age.

If you are looking for more vibrant, long lasting colors, adding a print to an original or commissioned piece is a great option!

Farm Framed Florals offers a limited number of commissioned pieces each year. Local, sustainable farmed flowers are required. Local, sustainable flowers will be more vibrant when they come out of the press, as they will be fresher and won’t be laden with pesticides.
