Why Pressed Flowers?

Hi there! My name is Christine, & I am the face behind Farm Framed Florals. Born & raised in the suburbs of Chicago, my family trekked west every spring break to ski Jackson Hole. After earning a BFA in Photography, I naturally gravitated to Jackson after undergrad. Setting my photography degree aside, I began landscaping in the summers & waiting tables during the winter months. Finding my stride in the Food & Beverage industry, I began managing full time, enjoying the hospitality but constantly frustrated by the lack of sustainable practices & the sheer amount of waste involved.

Missing my creative outlet, I found a passion for organic vegetable farming & began volunteering for Teton Full Circle Farm, located in Victor, ID, on the west side of the Tetons. Here, I became inspired to find a more mindful, creative path. It is also through my time spent on the farm that I grew to love the slower pace of life in Teton Valley. Fast forward ten years, & my wonderful farmer friends at Teton Full Circle Farm grew my wedding flowers, my good friend Angie arranged them, & on a whim, I decided to press them. Finding success in my first pressings, & the idea of Farm Framed Florals was born.
